Building IoT Conference: Call for Proposals

The Building IoT conference will cover the entire spectrum of topics related to the Internet of Things, will take place for the sixth time from 24 to 25 March 2021 as an online event. It will focus mainly on technical implementation in companies. The event will provide basic and expert knowledge and present many important concepts and tools as well as practical experience. The conference is organized by german tech-publishing companies Heise and dpunkt.verlag. Building IoT consists of two main conference days and one workshop day.
The organizers are still looking for talks and workshops until January 11, 2021. Talks of 45 minutes are desired. Workshops are planned as all-day events with 6 to 7 hours.
Among the topics to be covered are prototyping, modelling and architecture of IoT systems, IoT and Big Data, handling and analysis of data streams, Machine Learning in IoT, industrial IoT with its special requirements, Cloud platforms for IoT, as well as Blockchain and Smart Contracts.
Applicants have to provide abstracts of approx. 400 to 700 characters. These must be submitted by January 11, 2021 for the planned talk. Additional material supporting the application (long abstracts, slides, essays etc.) are also welcome. The organizers want to publish the program of the event by the end of January 2021.
